I met this girl at school just another a few weeks ago, let’s call her Grace, I was at track practice and we started talking randomly. I was skeptical at first because she’s a grade lower than me. But I really liked her personality and she seemed like a really nice person.
A few days later she requested me on instagram, no post, pfp is just a blank picture and only thing I recognized was that she was followed by all these people I knew. Assumed it was her, wanted to make sure so I messaged asking her if she did Track.
She said yea and didn’t follow up with any questions towards me. I decided I didn’t want my friends to ever see anything cringy I would write so immediately asked for her snap. And about a hour later she gave it to me.
After a few days of snapping I found I was really only waiting for a notification from her to appear. She didn’t have her location on for me so I would write down the snap score every time she snapped me. I eventually got bored of waiting patiently for one of us to make any type of move so I eventually gave in.
I don’t remember what I said exactly but it began a big conversation, all the annoying “small talk.” I knew it was much to early to make a real move and it was actually a Tuesday or Wednesday when we were talking. Every practice I catch her eyes watching me or likewise from me. But I’m to awkward to say something. My excuse was she was always with her friends. But I knew inside I was too much of a wimp to really talk to her. Later that week I was going into vacation. I was only around Friday night as I was going to be gone for the rest of vacation. I subtly asked if she was doing anything on Friday and she said she was hanging out with friends. Didn’t respond to me much that day but when she did her snap score only went up by 1 or sometimes 2. Now I’m on vacation and we’re snapping but she doesn’t use it too much. And I am usually away from my phone when she responds. She sometimes will ask me questions but I find it is usually me who starts the conversation.
Do I ask her to go somewhere when I get home, or do I let it keep playing as it is and play the long, scary game.
Forgot to mention we have been number 1 bsf on snap for a week or so.
