I have two really close friends and out of all of them, I’ve been hanging with other people and getting close with a guy friend in particular. My two close friends have also been forming new friendships, and they tell me that they’re jealous of each others new friends because they’ve been spending so much time with them. And they’re jealous of my friend, just for the same reason. However I don’t feel the same jealously. I just think that it’s ok and normal to be close with different people and be friends with many others. For some reason I don’t exactly understand the feeling.

It sounds like you’re surrounded with shallow people lol.
I’m not jealous of my friends who have other friends, and they’ve not expressed jealousy of my other friends either. Sometimes I meet friends of my friends, it’s all cool. Maybe we’re just cool.
jealousy doesn’t come out of invalid places and I wouldn’t necessarily call them out on it but maybe you can plan out a time to hang out with your two friends exclusively and more often that would be nice
I feel like that is a good thing. Jealousy is not a good emotion.
