So around the middle of November this girl from my school added me on snap, and I thought nothing of it, But about a week after she added me she started to talk to me about a couple of topics from school. She occasionally brought up conversations about guys that would text her on snap that she didn’t like, and classes she was struggling with.
After about 2ish months after we started talking consistently I go on a trip for a week, and during that week we had really good conversation going generally texting throughout the whole day, and she said she missed me and snapped me a countdown till I get back, as well as telling me to have a safe trip. Outta nowhere we got on the topic of who we liked, and I said I didn’t like anyone, and I though nothing of it, but then later in the day she asked why I didn’t like her. I told her that I did but for an introverted guy it was kind of embarrassing to admit, and I think she blew over it by texting “its hot its cold” for all I know she could be quoting a Katy Perry song. Before the flight back home she also texted me to tell her when I landed even if she was asleep.
My first full day back we planned to hang out with her and one of her friend from cheer we were going to meet at a local food joint after a game they were cheering at. On the way to the game her friend and the girl I’m interested in traded phones and her friend asked me if I liked her and I basically said yes but I dont wanna rush it, her friend responded that I was sweet, and that if I broke her heart I would die. After their game we went and hung out, but her friend was definitely observing me, like my mannerisms and how I looked at her, how I talked and acted around her. I had a ton of fun and she hugged me after her friend left(idk if this means I’m in the friend-zone or not).
With the super bowl coming up she says that she wants to watch the super bowl with me. She is a big chiefs fan, and was happy they won the game. I might just be stupid but does she like me?
Shes been making what I see as advances on me everyday with little things like recently getting on her phone during school and texting me, she almost is never on her phone in school to not distract herself.
I also just want her to be comfortable around me, and for it not to be awkward, and I think that if we got into a relationship that it wouldn’t be so awkward to hang around each other, I just dont know it shes throwing hints or if I am just being stupid.

P.S me and this girl are not going out at the moment.
