Hello everybody! My boyfriend and I have sex almost on a daily basis and we have already broken two beds and damaged a wall (a nail came undone from the bed frame) 😭 We want to have as much sex as we want without being afraid of going too hard for the sake of our bed frame and our walls, so if anybody has any good recommendations I would really appreciate it.

  1. I’m gunna be buying a bed in the next month. Avoid a metal frame. They arent very quiet. If you want high quality expect to spend 3-4k. Those $300-400 beds just ignore those. Expect to spent around a thousand for a decent mattress. Go with one of the top beds. Do not buy memory foam and take sleep number off the list. It’s an air mattress. A glorified one. Hybrids are best. A combo of memory foam and coiled springs.

  2. Strong wooden frame, legs and frame more than 3-4 inches thick, I find plastic sprung slats more reliable than wooden ones. Firm sprung mattress with very thin memory foam top. Missionary isn’t good with memory foam as you are drilling your partner into the mattress and with a spring mattress you get the subtlest bounce back that helps to maintain rhythm. The mattress shouldn’t sink in the middle, and should be firm on the sides too ( I think it’s called ‘edge support’)

As a man I like a board across the foot of the bed at my feet that I can push against if I want to really thrust super hard. So avoid divan style beds. It’s nice to have posts for using restraints. Make sure the bed is not touching the wall or surrounding furniture.

Divan style beds have another drawback – if one person is standing on the floor, and the other person is kneeling on the bed, the standing person wants to be able to get their feet slightly under the bed so they are closer to the kneeling person, it gives better angles and is easier on the back.

Also, I like a bed on legs as I keep our sex toys in a combination lock guitar case under the bed.
