What’s the weirdest thing you have bought in the middle aisle of Aldi or Lidl?

1. I didn’t buy it but my local had a Kayak with all accessories last summer. Just really really weird 😅

2. Car polisher for my partner, but came without a battery (sold separately) 😡

3. I’ve never been in one but my housekeeper occasionally regales me with tales of the weird or unusual stuff they sell, so there must be a market for it.

4. Shower head with LED lights that turn blue green or red depending on water temperature.

5. They had woodworking lathes the other week. That’s pretty niche.

7. An acoustic guitar which I bought from Lidl over twenty years ago and have never played or taken out of the bag it came in.

9. A tin of something which I’m still fairly convinced might actually have been dog food.
