I will start by saying that I’m at my wits end now. What could have been a healthy start to marriage counseling and some anger management for him is now tainted with my further gut feeling that something is going on in his phone that I am not to know about. Yes I should have asked at the time I noticed this strange chat app…but instead i took a photo which is blurry. The reason I did that was because I new if I asked “What is that”? He would have swiped it away quick. He really is not the cheating type but do to some intense friction in the marriage you never know? I love him very much and would like to work hard on repair but this really hit me. My trust is diminished and his phone is locked up with face recognition, thumbprint and a password? Now wtf?

If you look at the top of the screen there is writing and it ends in pink
The far left photo is a woman holding a dog… it’s so freaking strange.
What do you mean no record of it? I’d assume it’s some kind of game or chat app if the one pic is of a woman and her dog like a profile pic?
It looks like, at the very least, an app that accesses contacts. I’m guessing the top is “suggestions”, maybe of people to add from pulling his contacts, and the area below is the search history.
Clearly he knows what this app is because he was staring at it and interacting with it. If he refuses to open an app that looks exactly like this and plays dumb, you already have your answer.
