My friend recently got her American citizenship after being in this country for quite a few years. I’d like to give her an American themed gift basket with some fun items. I only have a few days to get it together so can’t be anything too expensive or specialized. Would love to know what YOU would put in such a basket.

Aside from the fun cliches here, maybe stuff from whatever state she’s living in? For example Wisconsin is known for their dairy, Georgia for their peanuts (I think lol), Florida for oranges, I’m from CA and pistachios and almonds are valuable and tasty crops, I think Oregon grows lots of apples…
