I (19M) feels like I can only have a meaningful conversation with female class mates. I undoubtedly know that I am a straight guy. however male friend groups are so loud and obnoxious for me personally, they always talk about girls, sex, dick jokes while being loud, which idk, maybe it is also circumstances. One thing is that a large part of me growing up is only with my mom, but I feel she isn’t a factor because she’s always busy and I am not allowed to leave the house. 3 years abroad for HS and then college have built me confidence a lot, but I still talk softly(not quirky, just not loud) and I still dislike loud groups of people.
Which brought me here, through my experiences of making friends I found out that I only talk with female counterpart, and always refrain from interacting with male groups.
I do want to have some male friends tho, infact I do have some, just online through video games, but I want to participate in male groups too.
Tldr: I realize that I only have female friends, want some tip to make some male friends without being loud and obnoxious.
