2. Just a pause of kinds, in this context I’d say that’s a bit of an embarrassed pause, as they left you hanging while they were on the phone

3. pause / change in subject

4. some long conversation on the phone, blah, blah, blah, but back to what we were talking about before the interruption

5. Ask her on a picnic, you’ll bring the food, she can bring the drinks. Tell her you want to go old school. Ok maybe that part was dumb, or funny, whatever. She may think it’s cute and romantic. I would. Happened to me once in France on the side of a mountain. It was pretty cool, just not much chemistry with the guy, but great idea.
