My line of work requires me to be confident and well-spoken in front of a camera as well as with a hot mic for hours at a time.
The complicated thing is I **only** feel like that in those situations. The more people watching or listening, the more confident I feel.
Any other time (talking to coworkers, sitting with small groups), I can barely keep up a conversation. I can be sitting with two other people and never get a single word in.
Unfortunately, people judge me much more for the latter.
