Where do you find new recipes?

  1. YouTube or Restaurants. I’ll find a recipe I like and try to duplicate or make it my own at home.

  2. I’m not a woman, I’m sorry, but I found the website supercook.com recently that lets you make a list of all the ingredients you have to work with and it sources recipes that use those ingredients from across the internet, you can also choose “missing one ingredient” or “missing two ingredients” and it’ll give you recipes you only need to get one or two things to make. I love it and I use it all the time. OK I’ll go away now! 🙂

  3. YouTube and TikTok. Once the algorithms learned you like cooking, they’ll send amazing recipes right your way

  4. My biggest pet peeve is trying to find new ones and having to sift through someone’s entire life story before they get to the actual nuts and bolts of the receipe, if they make that up front if at all.

YouTube/etc tends to help a bit with that.

Other than that, for me this one of the benefits of having a great relationship with my in laws. I’ve been no contact with my parents for certain reasons for years now, and my MIL’s main retirement hobby has turned into BeingGrandma^TM and cooking on hardcore mode.

Husband’s oldest sister and I also share a bunch of stuff, her and I are in the same boat when it comes to ~~feeding a frat house of our own creation~~ having multiple teenage boys.

  5. Apple News feed or Budget Bytes. Taste of Home in particular on Apple News since the recipes are vetted. Copy and paste to Note files on my phone for easy access and sharing. Always with a pic for reference.

  6. Goodfood. I don’t buy the boxes, I just go on their website and look at the recipes. Lol

  7. Instagram or the Facebook food groups I follow. *A lot* of people tag me in recipes on Facebook too.

Or a good old fashioned google if I’m in the mood for specifics or for what can I MacGyver out of what ingredients I do have

  8. I look at restaurant menus in other cities/markets for ideas then do a little research.

  9. I have a bunch of cookbooks. For years I almost never used them and I finally started taking them out and experimenting. If I have something specific in mind or a type of cuisine or baked good, I search online.

  10. [Allrecipes.com](https://Allrecipes.com)

    Pinterest

    Cookbooks

Google search for a particular dish I want to make

I recently asked ChatGPT to come up with a new recipe for me to try. It came out pretty good.

  11. Google. I look at the ones that actually have reviews and use my best judgment from there.

99% of my baking recipes are from Sally’s Baking Addiction, though. Her recipes have never failed me!
