Rewatching Rules of Engagement and my wife and I remind me so much of Jeff and Audrey lol

  1. Might be cringey but: Early Jim and Pam. We kind of started off the same way too. I was in a long term relationship, he and I were close friends. There was definitely a ‘Will they Won’t They’ awkward vibe about us with our friends and classmates. Then he confesses his feelings. I broke up with my then-boyfriend. We moved-in together two months later and got engaged like 10 months after that.

We’ve been married for 6 years and together for 8 years total.

  2. There are almost never couples that look like us on television shows or movies, and we don’t tend to watch much TV or movies. However, I think I would say Croix Meridies and Chariot du Nord.

  3. Bob and Linda, for sure. I love that they crack each other up and have fun after all those years & kids.

Also Ben and Leslie from parks and rec. “I love you and I like you” is now my standard for marriage lol

  4. My husband and I are Donna and Eric from That 70s Show. 10000%. Been together since we were kids, fumbled through first love together, laughing and fighting the entire way. Two kids later, we’re still fumbling our way through love and life together, still laughing a lot, too.

  5. Luke and Lorelai before their actual relationship.

My husband is a curmudgeon with a permanent casual uniform who aggressively wants what’s best for me, struggles with new technology, organized, neat, with perfectionist tendencies, and shows his love through acts of service.

I’m an overly dramatic free spirited nutcase who is impulsive, and sometimes looks like they got dressed in the dark. I eat like a 12 year old boy.

Our real love language is bickering and teasing each other full time, and we’re friends first.

  6. This isn’t TV but I’ve always thought my husband was like Mr.Darcy and I’m like Elizabeth. He hates people and would rather stay at home. Im much more outgoing and definitely have a sassy personality.

Not as accurate but Stefan and Elena from Vampire Diaries is kind of similar. Elena is more outgoing and wants to go out and do more. She has a lot of friends. Stefan is a little brooding and keeps to himself. He has more of a wall up. Stefan just comes off as more friendly than my husband 😂

  7. We are Nick Miller and Jessica Day if they got married sooner, moved to a small town, and had a bunch of babies. My husband is a goofy but grouchy blue collar man who appreciates the heck out of beer and can’t be expected to be a responsible adult most times. I’m an awkward, sing-songy gal who loves an a-line dress and works with kids while also homeschooling our own.

  8. Joe and Gloria of Modern Family

My wife and I don’t have that large of a difference but 12 years is still pretty sizeable especially since I feel so much older day by day.

Also she’s not Hispanic but she’s Filipina.

She’s that much more attractive than i am and I’m not as wealthy as Joe is but a few friends have already commented the similarities of that couple and us 🤣

  9. Gomez and Morticia Addams on some days. We’re a pair of weirdos who are super horny for each other and cherish each other. On other days Carl and Ellie from Up (I don’t have cancer or anything) because I always push him to have adventures even though I’m content being at home together, I still like to get us out of our comfort zone.

  10. I’m not married but I’ve got a boyfriend

    Me = kajol
    My bf = Ajay Devgan
Film = U Me Aur Hum (indian film)

  11. I asked my husband and he said Bob and Linda

I laughed because majority of the comments say Bob and Linda lol

  12. Not a spouse, but 3 different people have said, *”you need to watch this show called* ***Barry****.”*

  13. Gomez and Morticia Addams, but addams family values version. Not a show, but the most appropriate

  14. Lionel and Jean from As Time Goes By. Their arguments are often word for word what we would say.
