Do other guys do this too?
I tell myself we are not compatible because of our different lifestyles, so even if we click she won’t be able to share her lifestyle with me and i think things aren’t going to be great.
I’m wondering if it kinda makes sense or if it’s only in my head and as a broke guy i should try and date girls who are rich?

To be honest with you you can’t really tell if they’re actually well off or not without knowing then first. Its also not actually indicative of their money habits.
Generally you don’t stand a chance, but exceptions happen. So don’t be discouraged if it doesn’t work the first 10 or 100 times. You’ll get there eventually
Absolutely shoot your shot, 100% and yes some will turn you down for the money part but some won’t. Just don’t pretend to have more money than you actually do, as that will end up with you being more broke trying to keep up and her resenting you for lying – she will find out I promise. Instead, gloss over the current money part and focus the discussion on aspirations you have. That will get you a lot more respect than you think.
