Okay so this is a long one and I’m curious as to why this happens 🤔
So I’ve been friends with this girl since highschool and even asked out once but she wasn’t looking for a realationship and still wanted to be friends. But ever since after that which has been years now we talk every now and then not as much as I would like because she works a lot. But literally everytime we see each other we smile and laugh at Nealy everything and always look out for each other and ask how where going with our new hobbies work etc. Anyway there was this time she had broken up with her then boyfriend 2 weeks before a mates party that we both went to and everything was looking really good to the point that we almost kissed untill a mate of ours who was drunk as hell burst in the door saying come and drink with me Steve. Anyway so a month down the road she gets a new boyfriend who is the one she’s with now. Which I’m happy for her but at the same time again every time we see each other or she hears my name come up she gets the biggest smile and grin on her face and her mother constantly tells me when she sees me.
Ps I sued to serve her mother a lot at my old job.
Does anyone know that the hell is going on ?

I uhm don’t want to age check you but uhm, I hate to be the one to tell you this – from girls; nice means nothing.
She has a boyfriend? That’s it. You need no other information. She’s not flirting with you dude. You just have a past and she sees you as a friend.
