I do dishwashing and prep and I asked one of the waitresses out and she declined that’s totally cool I can move on but when I go back to work how can I make myself and her feel comftortable I’d like to greet her in a way that implies “ok that’s cool we are homies”

    What do you say to her tomorrow? “Good morning! how was your weekend?”

    That… and asking out coworkers is normally a bad idea for this reason. Just act normal, do your job and be whatever you was before.

  3. I wouldn’t make a big deal of it. Just keep doing your thing and smile when she comes by. Don’t make real big attempts to either avoid her or not avoid her.
