I’ve been here for almost a year, at the start it was pretty good lots of early finishes and paid for the full shift, but after the first few months the only time I got to finish early is if a customer cancelled or I rushed. anything under 4/5 totes I’m only getting 4 minutes, I’ve heard from others there average time for a drop is 5/6 minutes. Then there’s others that I’ve talked to that’s getting permanently finished at least 1 hour early every day, sometimes up to 4 hours early (forget about the 1 hour rule lol), I’m lucky is I get finished on time, have to end up cancelling my last few drops half of the time, I should probably speak to a member of management but wonder what its like for other Ocado drivers first.

  1. What happens if you cancel your last drops, are you saying like you have 2 drops and it’s gone 5pm and time for you to finish… do you pass them onto another driver finishing later? I’ve had 4 deliveries off Ocado before Christmas then they wanted £90 minimum spend with £10 delivery at Christmas… had everything in my basket for like £60 too but jibbed it off and it still annoys me now so haven’t gone back haha. I will do though as it’s decent stuff for not much different prices, depending on what you’re buying like.
