What is the most value for money subscription service/app that you are on right now?

  1. My lifetime Plex membership which was the best $120 CAD I have probably spent on entertainment.

Netflix used to be a good deal but I’m finding I am less and less interested with their new content. At this point I’m just paying for it because my gf and her mom watch it.

  2. I can’t remember the name of the site but one of my novel apps charges about 20 cents per chapter. It doesn’t seem like a lot but each chapter is only 1 page long and you can easily go through hundreds of chapters a day and that’s just one book. Most readers have multiple books they read daily. You could either pay $40-$60+ a month buying per chapter or buy the premium service for 7.99 a month and get access to all chapters + unreleased chapters. Easy choice for me.

  3. Discovery+

It’s like $5 a month so it’s the cheapest streaming service I know of but it’s got a TON of content between HGTV, Food Network, and Discovery.

I honestly hardly watch any other streaming service anymore

  4. Spotify and I’ve got a subscription box for fruits and vegetables that is worth every cent

  5. Spotify. I have had a subscription since the time you needed an invite and I doubt I will ever drop it unless they find a way to ruin it. Between shared playlists and their machine learning recommendations I’ve discovered so much great music over the years that I would have never had a chance to find on my own.

  6. Walmart+ came in for me during my covid quarantine. All my groceries got delivered, They covered the dashing fee, I did the tip

  7. Disney+

Soon as Paramount+ comes to UK an stops dawdling about then Netflix is gonna be going bye bye as my number 2, keep increasing prices but anytime I watch it its something I’ve either watched before or the every few months semi decent documentaries they put up, I also have the personal bone with them, in that as much as Squid Game is a really well made show, Alice in Borderland was a far better show than even that was but didn’t get the recognition it deserved because for whatever it didn’t get any attention at all till Squid came out.

  8. Surfshark. $60 for two years gets me thousands of dollars worth of movies and TV shows for free.

Spotify family plan is damn solid too though.

  9. Kayo.

All of the sports in the world at anytime you wanna watch.

The Formula One coverage is fantastic and is worth $10 per month alone.

  10. USCCA (United States concealed carry association)

$30 a month I get good training videos on being better in situational awesrness, as well as videos of state laws, and how state prosecutors interprate the laws and if God forbid I ever have to use my carry pistol I can give them a call, and a lawyer who specializes in self defence shootings will be able to help me out.

  11. We take Netflix for granted at this point, but it’s pretty fuckin’ rad. Speaking as a 90s kid who had to go to Blockbuster and pick out one movie and was committed to it for the weekend…just the notion that you have access to unlimited movies and TV shows would blow little kid me’s mind

  12. Tidal. I use it all the time. I don’t use Spotify because the sound quality sucks compared to Tidal.

  13. I’m still on the launch plan for Disney+ $140/3 years

    Also T-Mobile home 5G for $50/month

  14. none lol. I’m poor but I also don’t see a need for stuff like Spotify or Netflix. Not interested in series/movies and also happy enough with YouTube/Audio Files.

  15. Youtube Premium. No more commercials and you can download videos.

Youtube has all the music too.

  16. My library card. I don’t use it much, but when the denominator is zero, the value for money becomes infinite and it is therefore mathematically superior to all other options.
