Do you like catfishing? If so then why?

1. Very tasty meat if you know how to prepare it.

2. I prefer going for rainbow trout.

3. It’s rose-tinted for me I think. I miss fishing but I don’t think I’m patient enough for it. Plus I’m picky about fish but catfish is good.

7. Yeah I do, but I don’t get out to the lake much anymore. I do have a very cool picture of my son when he was 6 and we went catfishing. The little guy caught a catfish damn near as big as him, all by himself. The only thing I like better than catfishing is eating them. My wife makes the best batter and some hush puppies to go with it. It’s making me hungry just thinking about it.

8. Fun to catch, but makes me laugh. Where I’m originally from it’s a trash fish and pissed you caught it. But where I’m at now people treat them like a delicacy fish and have entire catfish restaurants that serve primarily nothing but catfish

10. Catfish taste delicious. They are a bit of a pain to clean, but it is worth it. Now, I do have an issue with them just eating the bait off my hook without me actually hooking them, but that is more of a skill issue.

15. I prefer perch or salmon myself.

16. Easy to catch, but not as tasty as other fish. Steelheads and rainbow trout are the best freshwater fish. Still tasty though.
