So there’s a girl(15F) from my school(but in another classroom) that probably is interested in me(15M), but I don’t really know if she is. I think she was kinda flirting with me, because she said stuff about how she likes my eyes and my haircut, but at that time I didn’t respond to it because I didn’t really feel anything towards her. I kinda forgot about that time, and we just stayed friends for some time until their class was assinged to paint some stuff, and she kinda drew me into her painting as a caterpillar, and drew a lip imprint near me. After that I think actually got feelings for her, and I tried to flirt with her, I did one time and said that I liked her wavy hair. But yeah that’s all I ever complimented her. I wanna tell her that I love her, but I’m afraid that she’ll just say that she wants to be friends. And I REALLY don’t wanna blow this chance. Last time I tried to date a girl, but as I remember I never really told her any compliments, and she just said she wanna be friends. Maybe I am wrong and giving compliments doesn’t really matter that much? I’m kinda confused, I’m new to dating.

I know it’s hard because you’re young you just have nothing to compare it to because you’ve never been in love.
That being said, it’s totally OK to keep on flirting. I would stay away from complementing her too much. I don’t think that’s flirting.
Ask her out to go do something together that you like to do. Plan the date from A-to-Z.
