Someone please be brutally honest with me here.
I’ve come to the possible conclusion that my boyfriend never had feelings for me in the first place and still doesn’t. He’s told me “I never thought the girl i saw as a friend would be my girlfriend” and “I never thought about asking u out” since I was the one who asked him out.
He’s affectionate towards me but something feels off now that I think about it.
He’s the type of person that doesn’t tell me certain stuff unless I ask because it’ll hurt my feelings. Once my cousin was giving him reasons not to be with me and he told me they were saying stuff about it but I didn’t get that detail until I asked. He’s my cousin’s friend so of course he’d know things like that. Maybe I should ask him?
I’m thinking of asking him about it but I also might act dumb until he says it if it’s true. Which is better?

I’m having a really hard time understanding what your concerns are. I’ve had several relationships that started with a friend and I might not have considered dating them if they didn’t ask me out because I feared messing up the friendship.

This sounds like what a considerate person would do. Why do you think this is a sign that something is wrong?
Don’t talk to you cousin about your boyfriend. Why is your cousin trying to talk your boyfriend out of dating you? Doesn’t sound like a very nice person. Talk to your boyfriend about your relationships concerns. But unless I’m missing something, you haven’t given any details that suggests he doesn’t care for you.
