I don’t like watching movies or playing video games with the lights on, we’re in a common room with three of us using the entertainment system.

Woman walks into room who happens to pay the bills so obviously there’s no rights for the others in the common space.

Conversation goes like this:

Woman turn on light in living room

I ask after observing her for a while that she’s on her phone and doesn’t seem to be reading or writing.

“Do you need the light on right now?”

My tone is neutral

She replies

“Which light?”

(Because there are so many Damn lights on)

“I said the one above you, do you need it right now?”

She replies back

“Do you need shades for the house?”

Just insanity, could just reply “yes or no” ffs.

Has anyone ever dealt with someone like this? How do you cope? Am I the crazy one for questioning it?

  1. Having a low light is better than no light, playing in a *well lit room* is suggested by most screen usage applications.

I understand your frustration, however since you aren’t the bill payer as you say, it’s a case of *tuff bruv, deal*.
