What would you do if your partner cheated on you and in the process have you HIV?

1. Start digging

2. Document it for the divorce proceedings.

3. Probably end up in jail

4. I feel like I could get away with murder

5. Well, definitely call my doctor ASAP and get on the necessary prescriptions.

   As for our relationship, it would end.

6. Get that taken care of to where it hopefully wouldn’t impact my life or future partners. As for them, they wouldn’t be my partner any longer.

7. I’m pretty sure I could take the murder charge down a couple notches just because of the shock of such a diagnosis and the ensuing rage. Could a jury convict me? Sure. Of second degree murder? Probably not.

   I realise that nowadays medications exist so that you can live a fairly good and long life with HIV. But that’s not really the point. And I’d want to make that point to someone who would be dumb and malicious enough to infect me.

8. Have him charged with attempted murder

9. Leave them alone in the world. Completely alone so that they have to deal with their own diagnosis without any support from me. I’d change my number and literally move away to a place where he couldn’t find me. If I were married, I’d of course divorce him and document this as the reason why.

   Then, I would find my support system (friends, family, a therapist), a great doctor, and start prioritizing my health and my life. I would focus on all the things that bring me joy, and surround myself with those things every single day. I’d make some much-needed life changes.

10. I’d be bringing a body to my parents farm for hog disposal. However I’m not sure if it would make the hog sick so maybe use him for compost for a lovely tree. I’m sure my dad would let me use the tractor to dig a nice hole for my tree.

11. Start taking ART?
