Ive been told everytime i speak i sound monotone, like a robot or rude. my parents often get mad at me whenever they think im being rude coz of my tone of voice or the way i respond coz i usually respond very bluntly. how do i fix this? how do i speak normally day-to-day? i think it is affecting the way people see me and i just want to know how to talk normally

People tend to interpret a flat tone of voice as boredom or disengagement, like you really don’t give a shit about them. So try being a little more perky. Is there a YouTuber or TV show character that speaks more enthusiastically, that you could take a few hints from? I’m not saying to put on a creepy act, just to use it as a source of inspiration, to take your demeanour a little bit more into that direction.
