What are some things you wished your partner would tell you when they tend to be quiet?

1. In the moment… nothing, if he wants to be quiet then he can, he can tell me what’s up (if anything) later when he’s ready

2. In my experience, a lot of times, pointed silence in a relationship means “I love you but I need some time alone right now to recharge and/or process things, and would appreciate being able to take that time so I can be all the more present and loving when we spend time together again.” So I would rather they just say that.

3. Why he chooses to look at me while he farts loud

4. Hmmmmm. Nothing. I don’t want to force them to speak, I know they love me and people who love you unconditionally, would never hold something in that needed to be said. So if it needed to be said, he would have said something.

5. That it’s not my fault that they’re being quiet and they’re not angry at me.
