I am a straight man in his early 60s and of pretty good health. Last year up until September I had a robust sex life. Almost overnight around October I started having a dry orgasm or which also known as retrograde ejaculation. That means seminal fluid is released into the bladder Instead of going out. I don’t have any difficulty getting erections, but orgasms are difficult in much less satisfying. It is not life-threatening and I have seen my urologist. All they say is that it could be anything. Does anyone here have any experience with this and know how to deal with it? Or is this one of the vicissitudes of aging and I’ll have to learn to live with it? does anyone have any ideas?

  1. A dry orgasm is not always the same as a retrograde orgasm. I’m surprised a urologist would brush it off so easily.

  2. Your description is me to a “T”. I get really worked up until I am about to release and it is a drop or two. It is very frustrating. Are you taking any meds from your urologist?
