Boyfriend lying about what he was doing F30 M30

To make a long story short, boyfriend and I have been in a long distance relationship for a little under 1 year.

I visit when I can, everything is fine except for the fact this his communication is terrible sometimes. We spoke about it recently and he agreed there’s work needed to be done on that part and he’s still very much interested in a future with me.

Fast forward to last night…

I follow many places in his neighborhood since I visit sometimes, bars, restaurants etc. On one of these pages I came across stories in real time with him in the background accompanied by 2 women.

Now, I’m not the clingy or jealous type nor do I need to know what my partner is doing 24/7 and every single detail of their life. And I also know he has many friends from both genders, some I’ve met. My mind didn’t instantly go to the worst

But in an effort to kind of see how our communication is going, I decided to send a quick text saying “hey! What you up to?”
He didn’t respond and messaged me in the morning saying he was sleeping.

Being that he didn’t have a reason to lie, I feel as if he was probably up to no good. Pairing this with the bad communication, I think it might be best to part ways.
