I change up my routine so life feels a little different.
If your emotions and interest have ‘flatlined’, I urge putting on your outdoor clothes and dragging yourself out for a walk, the longer the better.
Maybe stop by the grocery store and pick up something as an excuse to be out and about.
‘motion, creates emotion’
Practice gratitude for one but also giving myself the “me time” I need. I engage in activities that have made me happy in the past. Watching a light hearted movie, talking to family/S/O/friends if one thing in particular is bogging me down, read that book I’ve been putting off even though I know its going to be good, taking a nice hot bath, etc., and plan for a better day tomorrow.
Honestly masturbation helps. If I’m feeling meh that usually shifts my mood, and water. When I drink a lot of water I definitely feel more ready to take on the world. Add a long walk in and fresh air and I’m back to a place I want to be.
