What is your favorite toy you ever had as a kid?

  1. It was this stuffed puppy named Spot that I absolutely loved. It was based off of book series of the same name and it went EVERYWHERE with me.

  2. My bicycle (if that counts as a toy). Otherwise it was my electric slot car track. Either one was all the entertainment I needed as a kid

  3. My little, miniature, plastic Superman (with cape). Forgotten about him until just now. Lol

  4. When I was really young a hard plastic t-rex that I took everywhere with me (I was really into dinosaurs). Around 7 I switched over to legos and particularly bionicles.

  5. Popeye’s had Bluto, Popeye, and Olive Oyl plushes early in the 2000s. My grandma got them because my grandpa was in the Navy and she latched onto anything Navy or military related.

I used to come home after school and watch cartoons, eat chips and a hot dog and make Popeye and Bluto wrestle.

  6. My brother and I had a whole bunch of HeMan figures, the castle, all that stuff. We loved it and watched it on TV too.

  7. I had this RC car. The back opened and it shot nerf darts. I learnt it to a friend and he moved away and I never saw it again

  8. Hmmm.. tough one. Almost a three way tie.

    1. 3 foot long fire truck. Working lights, sirens AND mini rubber tires. *You bet your sweet ass it also had the 4 sets of double tires in the back AND working ladder.* I was five when I got that. I’ll never forget it. Made me want to be a firefighter for a short while.

    2. Kermit the frog toy. Not just any Kermit. Working mouth made of tough plastic but a soft plushy body. Loved that mf. Maybe 7 inches tall. Brought it to bed with me and would “share” dinner with it. I was 8-9ish.

    3. Thanos. 2005. Yeah. That dude. Few years prior I was introduced to him via marvel superheroes game for PlayStation 1. He was the final boss. I was hooked. Begged my dad for it. He caved. Marvel diamond select figure that also came with mistress death. He had the original infinity gauntlet. I had a collection of marvel legends figures back then and he was considered the crown jewel. I’ve only recently parted ways with that one. I was eleven when I got it. I’ll never forget my dad rolling his eyes when I tried to explain how “powerful” Thanos was. Well, guess who finally got the damn picture when he saw that mf YEET the avengers on silver screen? *Dad did.*

  9. Thats’a hard one. But near the top of the list was a Matchbox XKE jag coupe, red, with the coolest individual spoked wire wheels.

  10. Treble hooks and thumbtacks. They were knives and grappling hooks for my GI Joe’s and other action figures. They were constantly finding their way into my waterbed though so I was not allowed to play with them anymore and that just made them more desirable.

  11. Spiralcopters were the shit back in the day. NOT the modern ones. I am talking about the ones with the weighted head that could put a dent in your skull if you got hit by it.

We used to get extra large rubber bands for the launcher and put them a couple of hundred feet in the air.

  12. I had a bunch of the old wwf action figures. I loved them. I got my dad to make me a ring using some old cardboard and stuff and it was so much fun. Lost them all when we renovated the house around 12 years ago.
I had Austin, Goldberg, Hogan, Bret hart, Mr perfect, rock, ultimate warrior, undertaker and a few others.
And a ton of superhero figures too. I miss them.
