I’ve been talking to a girl for a few weeks now. She is genuinely extremely busy with first year university, final exams, and work (I’m on a gap year.) She is rarely active on any social media. She seems decently interested but also seems overwhelmed.

I tried not to be messaging her too frequently and never double texted but she started to seem less and less interested. I basically told her I would give her some space and that I didn’t want to interrupt her studying and whatnot and that if she wanted she could message me when she wasn’t so busy. She was appreciative of this in an interesting way. Her message conveyed that she liked the idea of talking later and that she is happy that I’m giving her room to focus on school, work, etc.. but nothing direct.

I’ve basically decided that I wouldn’t message her until she messaged me.

Thoughts anyone?

  1. You did the right thing.
If she’s truly interested, she will look for you.
Don’t push more. You showed your intentions and that’s enough. Don’t overthink about it.
