I (19F) and my boyfriend (19M) are both in college. We are currently in Long Distance relationship and we haven’t meet each other. I do understand that he is very busy with his academics. His home is also far from his school that’s why he needs to go very early and will arrive home late. We didn’t even have the time to talk. I’m not mad because we didn’t have the time to talk with each other. But it is kind of hard to cope especially we are far away from each other.

I’m also new to this kind of relationship that’s why I’m kind of clueless.

TL;DR: My boyfriend and I are both busy and there are times we can’t communicate. We are in LDR and I’m new to this kind of relationship. How to cope?

  1. LDR are hard as it is, being busy adds an element to it. You can try and make plans for specific nights to have phone calls

  2. I wouldn’t. I’d find someone better suited for my needs.

The only way to cope is to change your views on what you want from this relationship.

  3. You’re long distance, haven’t met eachother, and don’t have time to talk to eachother. That’s an easy nope. Periods of business or distance can be overcome in long term committed relationships, but with that set of variables there’s barely a relationship to commit to.
