6. Playstation has better graphics and better exclusives. Xbox has more comfortable controls and imo a better, more interactive community that’s better for multi-player games

16. Debated this my entire life lol I deployed and having always been loyal to xbox I switched it up for price and got a Playstation 4 pro. Once you come to the reliazation that X does the exact same thing as square etc the differences are very slight. One thing I love about Playstation is the lack of batteries! Can’t begin to understand why Microsoft still has batteries in their controllers and exclusives! Playstation wipes the floor with Xbox when it comes to that. That’s really it in all honesty both are great systems

    Different software – that’s it. The capabilities these days are equivalent. It all comes down to licensing deals.

19. Xbox controller > PS controller. It feels so much more natural. But maybe that’s because that’s what I’m used to.

    Also Gamepass.

    PS does have more exclusives but Sony tries to sue anyone that tries to change that. Kinda sad really

21. Very little. A few exclusive games and controller design. X-boxs gamepass is better the ps+, but both have a ton to play. Both companies have done some pretty immoral things to one up others

    If you play a TON of games and have time to take advantage of GamePass, then go Xbox for sure. Gamepass is amazing for people with TIME lol.

27. PlayStation has a bunch of very polished but kinda play-it-safe exclusives coming out each year. They used to have a bunch of creative exclusives, but then they moved their market focus from Japan to the US. Also the controller is more advanced.

    Xbox gets one amazing, imaginative exclusive every 3-6 years (latest being Hi-Fi Rush) with the rest being forgettable in every way. The controller is more comfortable, but is outdated feature-wise next to both the PlayStation controller and the Switch joy-cons.

28. Different exclusive games so it depends which you want to play. Xbox has game pass which is pretty cool but PC gaming is superior.

29. The main difference in their offerings is Exclusives vs GamePass. PS exclusives are vastly superior to Xbox, while GamePass is superior to the PS+ equivalent of that

30. Playstation has way better exclusives imo, but xbox has a more streamlined interface. I find the PS4 and the PS5 interface to be much less user-friendly than my Xbox One, but I don’t think it’s a deal breaker at all. Also, I always thought Xbox had way better controllers until the PS5 controller came out, and now I think it’s the best controller ever made.

34. Xbox is dramatically more friendly to parents, children, and people that don’t already have friends who are gamers.

    The difference is not just between the consoles, but also between the communities that follow each platform.

36. One has Last Of Us Part 1 and ghost of tushima the other Has far less strict rules when it comes to importing textures and new mechanics in fallout 4. And also controllers are super Dif.
