We both like each other (and both know it), and I‘m trying to plan something to see her on a date of some sorts. But there are problems. we only know each other from school, nothing else. Which is usually normal, except our school is pretty much an hour drive from our houses. Not to mention, we live in different towns, being around a 20 minute drive. Also, I don’t really even know how to hang out with normal kids outside of school too, which is likely a setback. I’ve only spent time outside of my school with only my childhood friends, and we just play video games with each other. So I’m not even sure where to start. Any feedback is much appreciate.

How secret does the date have to be?
I’m generation X but when I was in high school many of our parents played along with the ruse that our dates were just friends, driving us places and dropping us both off. Are your parents collegial enough to go along with this?
Can you meet or get dropped off at a bigger more conveniently located city just for the day and explore around together?
