Sometimes I wish I was older…

This is a first world problem, but I start to see a pattern that is starting to become frustating.

I am hanging out, when a woman looks interested, we start talking, and it comes moment when the age comes to the conversation and I tell them I am 26, and I can see the dissapointment in their eyes.

For clarification, I am a very big muscular guy (6’3), bald with the typical lumberjack beard. I usually wear glasses, It makes me look like the guy from VSauce but with a bigger beard lol. I know I don’t look like people my own age, and maybe they are attracted to the concept of a mature/older person.

I’ve had this problem when women deep in their 30s and near 20s (wich makes me feel weird now that I think about it) have been hitting me.

It’s frustrating, bc what is the alternative? Lie about my age and say that I am 35 or something? I am not doing that, but it seems that women my age looking for stable relationships don’t take me into account.

I want to see the positive and think that my 30s are going to be fun, I guess.
