Me and my girlfriend want to try anal with her on the receiving side. We already did anal several times with me receiving so I have anal douche equipment that I’ve already used.

I know it’s generally not a good idea to share anal douching equipment, but none of us have any STDs and we’re a monogamous couple. Both of us only had one sexual partner before each other and neither of them had any STDs. Can we share the equipment if well cleaned?

  1. If we’ll cleaned it should be fine. I think the dangers of sharing anal equipment are the same as the dangers of using the same anal equipment on yourself on different days. That is, clean thoroughly so bacteria isn’t on it (as much as possible) between each of your uses, just as you would between each of your own uses. Is it a pear douche or shower attachment? The problem with pear douches is that if you aren’t careful they can suck back up the water from your rectum, which potentially makes them very unhygienic. They are also a pain to clean. But I’ve always used those douches and have been careful and have never had a problem.

However maybe I’m wrong though and there is some huge risk with possibly sharing anal bacteria that I haven’t heard of? I dunno, I’ve seen porno where dicks go in multiple asses, but then again you also see ass to vagina, which is super unhygienic… In any case the price of the rectal douche is pretty cheap…

  2. Given you two are more or less fluid bound, really it’s more about bacteria and general cleanliness. Most of which applies to you using it on yourself too.
