Coworker [29M] and I ended up holding hands as we danced. It was hiphop rnb music but we did some salsa moves instead haha. He was twirling me around and we would just playfully do different dance moves while we held hands. I’m very much into this guy and I enjoyed the whole thing. The question is, is this still considered friendly behaviour or is this a sign that he’s interested in me too?

Context: the rest of our friends weren’t around at that time when this happened so it was just the two of us dancing with each other. When his friend came back, she was on the side sat down while my coworker and I just continued dancing.

  1. No one can tell from this alone. There is too much context and nuance in something like attraction. It’s a sign that there may be attraction there, but one sign alone isn’t enough.

  2. This is the part where you ask him that, we can’t possibly tell you. But all I know is coworker relationships usually end in drama.

  3. It definitely sounds like he’s interested in you! There’s a big difference between a friendly dance and something more, and the fact that nobody else was around to witness it makes it even more special. His body language when you were dancing together can tell you a lot – did he seem to make an effort to keep himself close to you and maintain hand contact? I think that’s a sign that he really likes you!

Ask him and never waste your time on mind games again.
