Not really a fan of revealing details but I’m 17M, student and have a friend group with quite interesting people.
But they’ve been insulting and joking on my personal insecurities and personal stuff I’ve revealed to them myself. I feel miserable and inferior around them as they are the “cool guys gang” and they get girls. So as they make use of me as some sort of laughing content everyone laughs at me and my respect is totally gone and my classmates(other guys) started to make fun of me as well who had been respectful before. They also broke physical boundaries and begin to hit me(not abuse just small guys stuff like slaps etc) and this has made me angrier to become more stronger(I’m thin af)
I feel I brought this on myself. Nobody respects me and I have become the laughing stock of my entire class.
1 month to go for school end so how can I prevent this in college. I’m already planning on leaving the friend group.

  1. Self respect means demanding a certain standard of treatment and consideration. The second you let one slide, the rest was inevitable. You don’t have to beat the fuck out of someone for calling you names or whatever, just stop hanging out with them. Go find people who will treat you with respect.

    You can start practising now.
