I’m almost a 22M, and I’ve noticed I’ve not had any real “best”/close friend since I was 14. I either am not interested in talking, I give without receiving as much or something along the lines.

Most people I know have a group of 3/4 friends that are always up to do activities together, either going out, going to the gym, playing online or stuff.
I’ve noticed that I’ve never had someone really like that for like forever?

Although I’m not someone isolated! I’m kind of the “popular kid” at uni, I really know a lot of people but I’ve just never clicked with anyone, and even if Im friends with them I don’t let them in my life as they don’t have the mindset that I do.
Is that normal?

TLDR; I’m almost 22 and still haven’t met someone I can really call a friend

  1. It’s totally normal! Everyone’s experiences are different, and you should never feel ashamed of not having a group of close friends that you can do activities with. Try to focus on the positive relationships in your life and be open to new relationships – you never know who you might meet and who could become your best friend!
