Been here for three years and British men have been very distant and hard to socialise with. In all those years not a single one chatted me up, always had to come up to them, make the first move. Online they’d take hours to respond, flake on me or stand me up. Never managed to get a proper date with a British guy in all those years. Anyone have the same experience? Feel like maybe it’s a matter of the particular beauty standard here and me not having the type of look British men tend to go for

Where did you come from originally can I ask?
As a British guy I tend to be more attracted to foreign women so whilst i might not necessarily come up and chat to you, I’d certainly make the effort online.
I’m a British guy and have dated lots of southern European women before. Had girlfriends from Cyprus Greece etc. That said only one of my male friends have dated non-brits. I’m not sure why, different people must like different things I guess. OLD is awful fur everyone in fairness. Just keep looking, you will find a good one I’m sure!
British culture is very proper and uptight, then you’ve got the (men are monsters) being drilled into us for quite a few years now.
