awesome! i’ve been a bartender and waitress for about five years now. the job is pretty fun, especially if you’ve got a nice amount of regulars. pays relatively well compared to my main job, the tips are a huge plus.
yes, it’s stressful. and people can be complete fucking assholes, but generally i wouldn’t want to quit. like ever.
I was a barback at a hookah bar. It had hookahs, cigars, and drinks plus Mediterranean food. The building had a great ventilation system like a casino. It was interesting… When I worked there i was just beginning to find out who I was at like 22. So still not very confident. I got fired because the dude who hired me got involved with selling drugs and somehow they thought I was involved.
