Idk if it’s cause I watch too many documentaries, listen to too many true crime podcasts, I am beyond scared to go to a man’s house. I’d much prefer hotel after a few dates, cause well, at least there’s cameras in the lobbies, elevators and hallways. I’m always thinking if something was to happen, at least the cops will find the video footage and see me with the man.

You’re not nuts. This is a genuine concern which many women feel. Unfortunately the few men who act like this reflect on men in general in a bad light however i can assure you not all men are like this
I don’t think this is something you really want to ask lol. I think any woman who goes to a total stranger’s house on the first date probably has several issues.
Tbh when I was dating a lot in my 20s women always wanted to come over to my house after a first date and I was not into it. I did it a couple times and literally kicked out several women
Taking a girl to a hotel is what is done when you’ve got a gf at home or she has a bf. Suggesting it will be a big red flag.
