I’ve been trying to understand what this man is trying to say. I feel like I’m not picking up on social cues so please don’t judge me too hard.

Me: I used to be like oh he must like me but it’s just sex.

Him: I do like you ____

Me: Ugh ___ you can’t say you like me when you don’t mean in a romantic way.

Him: Yes it is ma’am. But it’s true.
I’m just so unstable I’m sorry

Me: When you say you like me, do you mean it romantically?

Later on the week, I see he posted a girl on his Instagram story.

Me: Are you dating that girl on your story?

Him: I told u l’m not doing that before residency
Me: I’m sorry for asking. I probably shouldn’t have. I’d be annoyed if guy did that to me what I just did to you.

Him: But you’re not any girl. So it’s ok

Me: I’m not any girl?

Him: you’re ~special ~

Me: You have to be messing with me

Him: I’m not

Me: special can mean many things

Him: Like I LIKE you so I am more flexible 🙂

  1. Guys full of shit. Move on. When you’re special to someone no one else exists. Especially random chicks you for some reason are posting to social media.. like come on…

  2. They don’t want anything to do with commitment most likely because they enjoy having sexual variety. He likes what you can do for him and doesn’t seem very interested in anything romantic. They’re sending the mixed messages to prolong their chances of getting to have more sex.
