As I ease back into dating, and talking to people, and thinking there’s something solid between me and someone only to find that maybe I was wrong—I think I’m happier when I’m not in this game, and I’m good with being single. I’ve also been single for four years by choice, so I know I’m just not used to this again.

I’m curious what you find exhausting about dating, and how you’ve processed that so you don’t close yourself off from dating altogether.

  1. Honestly the entire process is exhausting. Finding someone to date… Going on the initial dates… Discovering it won’t work. Repeating.

  2. All. I started two years ago to devote my time to my work, my training and my personal projects. It is more profitable and satisfying. Then sex and affection, you don’t think about it too much after a few months.
