So I’ve been going out with this guy for months now, and I just noticed that everytime I say the word “we” he emphasizes it. ALOT! Like for example on our way to my place he said he was having a bad headache and I told him “Do you need a pill? I’m pretty sure we have Tylenol at home” which he replied “oh do WE now?? WE have tylenol at home?” He said smiling which made me a little confused saying “yeah we have tylenol at home. My bro and I have it somewhere in the house.” and he just kept smiling after I said that.

Second time was we were at the store looking for some stuff to buy, after getting everything we needed for that night we just kept walking around the store for about 10mins so I asked “are we done?” and he goes “yes WEEE are done.” While smiling. I just ignored it but it is kind of bugging me.

I just want to know what goes through a guys mind or any person in general to hear the word “we” from the other person that they go out/date with.

  1. Could it be that he is happy that you are referring to the two of you as a couple? Honestly, you just need to ask him what’s going on in his mind. without more context, I can’t be sure if he’s just happy, or being mocking.
