I’m texting my friend setting up plans to celebrate his birthday on Sunday. He said he wants to hangout so I said that I work on Sunday until 3 but sometimes until 4 because I’m a custodian so sometimes it runs late. I then asked what he wanted to do? He opened up my Snapchat but left it on read and I know he’s been on Snapchat because he posted some stories.
My question is should I text him again or just wait until he responds? I don’t want to annoy him but I’m confused because it sounded like he wanted to make plans cause he was the first to reach out to me about it.

I would say wait for a day, tops. If they don’t respond even then say, “hey are you okay with meeting after 4?”
