went to a certain supermarket today, and could only find own label versions of both Colemans and Schwartz packet sauce mixes.

Is there a reason for this?

Both brands seem to be, sold out on the companys website.

  1. I’d imagine they’re having difficulty getting one of the ingredients, and it’s not one they can leave out. Many of their sauces have powdered tomatoes. Someone reported difficulty finding tomato juice, and I’ve had problems too. It seems to be that energy price rises have left it too expensive to heat greenhouses for tomatoes.
