1. They are random, usually happens when I went a while without ejaculating. You don’t know it happened till you wake up and there’s a load in your underwear. Something could trigger it, like missing your significant other for me.

2. Your body tests its own abilities by giving you erections. You produce new sperm all the time and need to get rid of the old ones. If you don’t do this yourself by sex or masturbation your body will do it for you by giving uou an erection and a wet dream.
