What did I do wrong???

So this girl has a crush on me, and I asked her out, she started blabbering that she aint good for her and that I dont deserve her, I tried to convince her but she didnt get convinced and at the end said, that she doesnt wanna spoil our friendship (which doesnt exist) and that she doesnt like temporary relationships (which I didnt plan), so I ended the convo with a pinch of spice sayeing, “just so u know… nvm”. 2 days later his male best friend who has crush on her texts me and says that, if I do this one more time, she’s gonna tell this to her parents and complained abt in the skool which can get me blacklisted from my skool, although I didn’t reply to that. Today when I met her and asked abt what she told him, she avoided me. I just want to know whut did I do wrong so that I dont repeat it in the near future from gurus… (keeping in mind that I m an Indian and our parents don’t allow bfs and gfs)
