When you grow older you will realise, being boring is not too bad. I felt like that when i was 18. My friends told me i was too boring to hung out with.
Then i found a complete new group of friends, who likes for who I am. And been hanging with these new group ever since. Im close to 30 now.
Don’t try to be someone else, everyone is unique. If you try to be someone else then the world will be one missing like you. 🤷♂️
F*** being like other people when that means not being yourself.
First, I recommend toning down with the negative self labeling. Maybe I’m projecting, but I’m mid 20s now and really regret being so negative to myself. Lost hundreds of hours of sleep over it over the years.
The second thing I would say is pursue your interests, or explore things you think you might be interested in that’ll plug you into the world. The more things your interested in, or the more things you pursue seriously, the more interested in those things you’ll feel, and thus more interesting (except don’t start out calling yourself boring, it’s kind of a paradox ig.)
