How do I deal with the pain of being alone?

  1. Find a routine that works for you, fill up days with stuff, hobbies, bathe, go for a walk, eat, read lots, grow a plant, invest in yourself and work on what keeps people away.

  2. Reach out to people. If you wait for everyone to come to you you will be waiting & mentally stewing. Get out of your home / apartment and do things with others.

    Some first-world problems right here. My recommendation is to change perspective; lonliness is a state of mind, not a state of being.

    **Volunteer** and live in service to someone else. See how others who have less do.

  4. Love it. Was in a horrible toxic marriage. Men get abused too. Being alone is the best thing ever.

  5. Hobbies that involve other people. That could be sports, or taking classes, or whatever.

  6. Books. That’s what I did, I just read book after book. Fictional characters are awesome friends lol
