For the couples who sleep in one bed. Personally I love sharing a double duvet with my spouse, but opinions strongly differ amongst my friends and family. Feel free so share why in the comments!

  1. We have a king size bed and two small blankets. That way no one can hog the blankets. Works well for us.

  2. We share a sheet and light blanket and then have individual blankets for over that so that we can address our individual warmth needs.

  3. I loved sharing a blanket with my wife. I hated waking up in the middle of the night freezing because she stole it. So, two blankets.

  4. I voted for 2 single duvets but we actually have 2 double duvets because they have a tendency to completely cocoon myself. They’re different thicknesses too because I get colder so works well for us!

  5. Two queen blankets on a queen mattress. She always ninja kicks hers off in the night. So it’s the only way I get a blanket.

  6. We have a king sized bed, but we use two king sized blankets/duvets. That’s the only solution we’ve found because I like a thin blanket, and he likes a thick heavy comforter.

  7. Not exactly that we disagree, but husband definitely prefers that we share and I could care less as long as I’m covered up. So I voted of course we share.

Sometimes when it’s a little warm I’ll have the blanket only on my side because he runs hotter and he’s just using the sheet. Then it gets to early July and the blanket comes off entirely and the sheet is pushed on my side because I have to be covered to fall sleep.

  8. We each use our own blankets on a king bed. My husband is a “tuck and roll” sleeper so I use to always end up with the edge of a blanket. Combine that with a 90lb dog sleeping between us, and I could never pull blankets back to my side. So two blankets makes things SO much easier.
